Young people at YMCA Walker youth project have been exploring what it means to be a Geordie with the help of a local film-maker.
While reality TV shows such as Geordie Shore have contributed to popular national stereotypes of how young people from Newcastle dress, behave and live, young people at Walker project have different ideas on what constitutes a proper ‘Geordie’.
The project has been made possible thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
