BBC Children in Need is the grant-making trust of the BBC. They fund our youth work activities at SPACE2… and in Walker and support our on-going programme teaching young people how to cook healthy nutritious food on a budget.
The Heritage Lottery Fund supports our youth work activity programmes. Thanks to their support, we are undertaking a project that explores ‘Wor Story’: Newcastle’s heritage and what it means to be a ‘Geordie’.
Virgin Money Foundation focuses on helping people and organisations that support areas in need. The Foundation has £8 million of committed funding for charitable projects. They have funded the start up costs of our two social enterprises.
Garfield Weston Foundation focuses on helping small charities across the Country that support areas in need. The Foundation has supported our core running costs so that we can continue our much needed work with young people across the City.
National Lottery Community Foundation aims to support projects which help communities and people it considers to be most in need. The foundation has provided us with funding to run a project to tackle loneliness in socially isolated group in Walker. Their generous donation will help us provide support to beneficiaries which are both young families and older adults.
