What is digital youth work?

Digital Youth Work means using digital platforms to engage with young people. Social media and digital platforms are now a key part of young peoples lives and we want to use this digital space to help young people. Our goal is to provide unconditional support to young people in Newcastle. We’re adapting our work to support young people during social isolation. We’ll still run clubs, sessions, and provide information, guidance and support through private messaging. Digital Youth Work is an additional tool that allows us to provide content and activities for young people as well as still carry out essential 1:1 work.
