Support in your Own Way…
Support us by doing something you enjoy! Come up with the craziest, wackiest thing you can think off, set up a fundraising page on our website and get your friends and family to sponsor you to do it! You could organise a fundraising event individually, or with a group off friends or co-workers at home, school or at work. Stuck for fundraising ideas? The possibilities are endless and the crazier the better! You can arrange a pyjama day at work, get sponsored to spend an hour in a bathtub full of beans, dye your hair a dazzling colour or even shave it all off! Set yourself a challenge… run a marathon, swim a triathlon, dance in a competition! YMCA Newcastle can help you with posters, leaflets, branded materials and collection tins and we’ll be more than happy to help with your event and promote your fundraising campaign. Got a wild fundraising idea or would like to set up your own appeal? We’d love to hear from you, so contact us at enquiries@ymcanewcastle.com
Donate…
We are very grateful for donations: whether this is a one-off donation, regular giving or perhaps a contribution towards one of our appeals!
A bit of inspiration…
Fundraising made easy- Donate while you shop at no extra cost!
Put on an event
Put on an event such as a quiz or a fashion show and sell tickets. Not only is it a great way to raise money, it’s also good fun.
Afternoon teas/coffee mornings
Why not get baking and have people round for a coffee morning or afternoon tea? You can ask people for a small donation or hold a raffle and sell tickets.
Car boot sales
Set up a table for YMCA Newcastle at a car boot sale and sell your unwanted bric-a-brac.
Auctions
You could hold an auction dinner. Ask individuals and local businesses for items that money can’t usually buy. Individuals could offer an hour’s gardening, an evening’s babysitting or a week in their holiday home. Local businesses could offer items like a studio portrait, a hamper or a haircut.
Remember us in your Will
You could help us to provide life-changing support to young people in Newcastle years into the future by leaving us a gift in your will. Please see our Leaving a Legacy page for further details.
